Seattle Mariners Baseball Game!

We are thrilled to be able to kick off our 2009 event with a group outing to Safeco Field for the season home opener of the Seattle Mariners, who will be hosting the 2008 American League West Champion Anaheim Angels.

You may sign up for this event during online registration – we will have a limited number of tickets as this is a sell-out game each year.

Kickoff will be hosted at the Grand Pacific Ballroom prior to departure to Safeco Field. Shuttles will be made available for transportation to the venue for a 3:40pm starting time. The kickoff event will welcome you to Seattle with pre-game snacks, cash bar and the chance to win Mariner’s merchandise as well as drink tickets!

Group Activities, Day Two

On day two of the event, Western States has provided a break to allow event attendees the opportunity to sightsee, shop, rest or grab the chance to sample a bit of Seattle’s world famous cuisine. During this break, we will provide three unique excursions that you may sign up for in the online registration process. You may only sign up for one excursion.

Elliott Bay Cruise

Guests’ will board the Lady Mary ship directly across the street from the hotel at approximately 2pm for a 2 hour cruise around Elliott Bay that will include light hors d’hoeuvres and soda’s.

Space Needle Tour

Grab a colleague and head to the Space Needle for a 2pm tour that will take you 520 feet up to the observation deck for outstanding 360 degree views of Seattle. Each guest will be provided one drink ticket for the beer/wine bar on the observation deck.

Seattle Aquarium Excursion

Guests’ will enjoy an afternoon of exhibits at the aquarium. At 2pm, event attendees will meet for a group entrance, but once inside will be allowed the flexibility to view at their own pace!
